Welcome to Crafternoon Cabaret Club: the award winning London craft event where you can make and natter to your hearts content to the backdrop of top-notch cabaret performances.
My name is Hannah – I’ve always been passionate about making, creativity, DIY, performance and people. It was only a matter of time before I found a way to bring all these passions together! And so on a sunny saturday afternoon in 2013 Crafternoon Cabaret Club was born. Now I run my monthly craft workshops at The Book Club, The Library Pub and The Hospital Club, London (I like bars with quirky names that make damn good cocktails!).
On my blog you’ll find me writing about some of my favourite things: crafts, DIY, travel, London living, books, events and workshops I’ve attended and where I find inspiration, as well as the latest updates for Crafternoon Cabaret Club.
This blog began as a way of documenting my creative journey – I felt like I had stopped being creative for myself and I wanted to find some new hobbies. Since then my blog and events have grown and I have found an amazing home in the craft blogging community. I’m a bit of a craft magpie; I adore making, I get really over-excited about trying new skills and I love meeting people and exploring new places – but I try not to take myself too seriously so you might also read about that time I dropped my knitting needles off a tube carriage, craft fails (it happens) and how my husband likes to suggest that the next Crafternoon Cabaret Club should focus on mending his clothes every few months (he’s a funny guy!).
I love connecting with people online: come and hang with me:
